Last week Tufail Shahzad and Gijs van Beek visited the maritime engineering department of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (Rotterdam Mainport Institute). Our project managers presented first-year students with a preview of their future craft.
Special attention was paid to working with MasterShip Software. We delved into current applications and looked ahead to future developments. That left many wanting more. Out of 30 students 22 applied for a student license on the spot.
It’s great that so many students came up to us for a chat after class. Our thanks go out to the Maritieme Techniek – Hogeschool Rotterdam, and the enthusiastic teachers and students we met. Their energy will carry us all week!
