Generative Design uses algorithms and parameters to automatically build and analyse multiple design options. We believe integrating Generative Design into ship design will bring forth a paradigm shift in the creative process.
Today, engineers manually craft designs, making choices based on their knowledge and experience. In the future, an engineer will feed parameters to MasterShip Software, which will create numerous design options to review.
To build our Generative Design tool, we are incorporating input from various disciplines. Our goal is to bring an holistic approach to generative ship design, making space for creativity, innovation and optimisation within the shipbuilding sector.
